Question: My car has some severe body damage from a collision but it still runs. Should I continue to drive it until it is repaired?

Question: Am I required to get more than one estimate to repair my vehicle?
Answer: There is no law requiring you to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal.
Question: Do I have to take my car to a repair shop provided by my insurance company?
Answer: You have the right to go to the repair shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.
Question: Why is your estimate different from another estimate I received?
Answer: Differences in estimates are common. A lower estimate may not include all necessary work. If you are not sure why one estimate is different from another you've received, ask the shop manager.
